We’re setting out to create a modern experience with new features and ideas that previous games lacked. We’re approaching this inspired by other games of the genre and our love for simulation games and theme parks. Fail at that and face the consequences! Unhappy cashiers might annoy guests, unhappy custodians will leave your park a mess, and unhappy ride maintenance teams will leave your guests a mess. Management is key: you’ll have to look after employees, resources, and park infrastructure.

Parkitect is a simulation game where you get to build a successful theme park! Design roller coasters, install shops and thrill rides, and top it all off with incredible scenery and dynamic landscapes. Play Build your way through a challenging campaign! 26 scenarios with unique settings will put your theme park management and coaster designing skills to the test. Manage Building is only half of the challenge! You’ll need to keep an eye on the finances and guest satisfaction to stay on top, and for the first time in a theme park game the “behind the scenes” parts of your park have a meaning too! Route resources to your various shops without annoying your guests and keep the staff areas out of the public eye for the perfect immersive experience. I highly recommend this game to fans of the original RCT's scenarios - they got all the points that really matter spot on.Spinning, looping, launching, flying – with over 70 of the worlds most popular types of theme park rides you’ll always be able to surprise your guests. And I have a huuuuuuge love affair with RCT1 - the fact that Parkitect may surpass it as my favorite in the genre is nothing short of incredible. And the scenarios are top notch - I haven't had this much fun with a theme park sim's scenarios since RCT1. I especially love how it actually rewards beautification-based design and scenery with its mechanics - something that always bothered me about RCT2's functional-yet-meaningless building mechanics. The number of permutations of pieces and sizes to work with is amazing here's a Mack water coaster I'm somewhat proud of along with a GCI-esque mine train. The game looks completely different from its early beta days when I last played - coasters are much more fluid to design and they look significantly smoother now, to the point where zero-G rolls look graceful as hell (a million times better than anything RCT3 had to offer). There are little UX niggles and blemishes in the polish that bothered me immensely initially, but once I got to the real meat of the game, I've been completely absorbed. Been playing a lot of Parkitect this week, and I'm 90% loving it.
